Mark Iwicki joined Sepracor in October 2007 as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, and in February 2010, was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer and became a member of Sepracor's Board of Directors. Mr. Iwicki is responsible for leading Sepracor's Commercial Group, Supply Chain Operations, Human Resources & Administration, Information Technology and Corporate Development & Licensing.

Prior to joining Sepracor, Mr. Iwicki held senior positions at Novartis Pharmaceuticals from 1998 through 2007, most recently as Vice President and Cardiovascular Business Franchise Head. Prior to that, Mr. Iwicki was head of the Arthritis, Bone, Gastrointestinal, HRT, Infectious Disease and Urology Business Franchise Head. Before joining Novartis, Mr. Iwicki held various sales and marketing positions at Merck and Astra Merck. Mr. Iwicki earned his B.S. from Ball State University and an MBA from Loyola College.
