As of January 2010, Mr. Scumaci was appointed Executive Vice President and Special Advisor to the Chairman. Prior to this, Mr. Scumaci served as Sepracor's Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Scumaci served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance, Administration and Technical Operations since May 2007 and as Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration at Sepracor since February 2001.  Mr. Scumaci served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at Sepracor from March 1996 to February 2001 and as Vice President and Controller from March 1995 until March 1996.

Prior to joining Sepracor, Mr. Scumaci was Vice President of Finance and Administration, North American Operations with Ares-Serono Group, a multinational pharmaceutical company from 1987 to 1994. Previously, he was associated with Revlon and Coopers & Lybrand in various finance and accounting capacities.
