Sepracor engages in preclinical and clinical investigational studies. As results become available, Sepracor may release the information to educate the scientific and clinical communities on both the mechanisms of disease states as well as appropriate therapies. We have presented information relating to efficacy, safety, and potentially appropriate place in therapy for several drug candidates, including LUNESTA^® brand eszopiclone, XOPENEX^® brand levalbuterol HCl Inhalation Solution, XOPENEX HFA^® brand levalbuterol tartrate Inhalation Aerosol, and BROVANA^® brand arformoterol tartrate Inhalation Solution, all of which are currently on the market.

Information is released through several forums including full, peer-reviewed publications as well as presentations at society meetings. We have published, with our collaborators, the results of our work in world-renowned journals such as the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (JACI), SLEEP, the official publication of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS), and Biological Psychiatry. We have presented at major society meetings such as the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology (ACAAI), the American Thoracic Society (ATS), the National Medical Association (NMA), the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the APSS, and the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA), among others.
