Our first self-developed and self-commercialized product, XOPENEX^® brand levalbuterol HCl Inhalation Solution, was introduced in 1999. Since then, we have maintained significant focus on development of products to treat respiratory diseases. Our portfolio of respiratory drugs also includes XOPENEX HFA^® brand levalbuterol tartrate Inhalation Aerosol, a hydrofluoroalkane (HFA) metered-dose inhaler (MDI), which we commercially launched in December 2005;  BROVANA^® brand arformoterol tartrate Inhalation Solution, which we commercially introduced in April 2007; and OMNARIS™ (ciclesonide) Nasal Spray for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, which was licensed from Nycomed GmbH (Nycomed) in early 2008 and commercially launched in April 2008. Under our agreement with Nycomed, we also obtained the rights to commercialize ALVESCO^® (ciclesonide) Inhalation Aerosol for the treatment of asthma in the U.S. as well as three additional ciclesonide development candidates. We are currently targeting a second-half 2008 U.S. launch of ALVESCO Inhalation Aerosol.
