Our first self-developed and self-commercialized product, XOPENEX^® brand levalbuterol HCl Inhalation Solution, was introduced in 1999. Since then, we have maintained significant focus on development of products to treat respiratory diseases. Our portfolio of respiratory drugs also includes XOPENEX HFA^® brand levalbuterol tartrate Inhalation Aerosol, a hydrofluoroalkane (HFA) metered-dose inhaler (MDI); and BROVANA^® brand arformoterol tartrate Inhalation Solution. We also commercially launched OMNARIS^® (ciclesonide) Nasal Spray and ALVESCO^® (ciclesonide) HFA Inhalation Aerosol in the U.S. in 2008, for which we obtained exclusive U.S. distribution rights from Nycomed GmbH (Nycomed) in early 2008. Under our agreement with Nycomed, we also obtained the rights to three additional ciclesonide development candidates, which strengthen our respiratory portfolio.
